About HMS Foundation
The Hollis Musgrove Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2018.
Our mission is to work collaboratively to secure financial resources to support student scholarships, and other departmental priorities and initiatives.
We strive to achieve our mission through rigorous fund development, stewardship, and donor relations.

Am I eligible?
General eligibility requirements include:
- Must be an active member of the Mississippi Southern First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.
- Must complete and submit a scholarship application along with two (2) type-written letters of recommendation. One letter must be written by the applicant’s pastor; letters from family members will not be accepted.
- Must provide a Personal Statement
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Official Transcript required

How do I apply?
All applicants must complete the online Scholarship Application and submit all necessary documentation no later than June 30, 2024.
When are awards presented?
Scholarship awards are presented during the MSFEJ Annual Holy Convocation, 2nd week of July.
Can I apply as a returning applicant?
We are not accepting returning applicant submissions.
What is the deadline for application submissions?
Applications must be received by June 30, 2024; applicants will be notified of the decision before July 15, 2024.
